It's Anita's Day!

Our gang of women runners has a tradition of gathering for each of our birthdays. The pandemic of 2020 has put the kibosh on that fine tradition just when we were about to celebrate Anita's big day. So in lieu of being able to wish her a happy day and grand new year, I've brought my blog out of its slumber to celebrate her day.

Happy birthday Anita!

 Anita! Joyful, talented, speedy Swede

We’re lucky to have you in our pack indeed!

Always running along with a tale to share

And maybe a daydream that provokes a “Where?...”

Through every season your smile has brightened the run

In blowing snow, Autumn’s glow, and rising sun.

But now running solo in 2020 – a year so bizarre

We wish you Grattis pĂ„ födelsedagen! from everywhere we are!

 Speedy!

Through the seasons!

Smiling!

Happy HAPPY Birthday To You!
