PJ's Run was originally created in 2006 to document the training for and tackling of my dream run from Boulder, Colorado to Petoskey, Michigan: 1400 miles, 6 states, and 57 days on the road from June 6 to August 1, 2007. Since then, I continued to post occasionally with a focus on my running endeavors sprinkled with other bits and pieces of life. Fast forward to January, 2016 and my new Quest! To run a trail in every state. More adventures to write about in PJ's Run!

Lincoln Highway in the spring time
While the fellas ate lunch at Ole's in Paxton, Nebraska, I treated myself to another run along the Lincoln Highway. Today's run was under a warm sun, with cows grazing in corn fields still dotted with last year's husks. The road was as quiet as I remembered it, drivers waving as they went by giving me plenty of room along the generous shoulder. I even got a "toot toot" out of the passing train. Only seven miles rather than 30...but seven very delightful miles along one of my most favorite roads from the run to Michigan!
