This Saturday got off to a fine start and continued rolling right along:
- a cool start to the day, well below 80.
- I headed out in the delightfully cool air for my run which included 6x4s/1s, much of it on dirt, the rest on very quiet neighborhood streets.
- My run ended at the rendezvous spot with the two Satboys who were available this weekend. The Satboys (and me, the token female Satboy) have been meeting every Saturday for decades - originally to run together, now to walk, and always to wrap up the festivities with breakfast and boisterous conversation.
- Our Satboys walk was a tour of a very calm CU campus - the last weekend of peace and quiet before the students descend on the town his coming week.
- Following breakfast and a walk home, it was time to check some items off the ToDo list. Ho hum. Ho hum. But yay! Check! Check! Check!
- As the afternoon progressed, it was time for some fun! We headed out to get a tour of niece Amber's new house. A lovely house with exquisite gardens. Amber's professional landscaping skills really shine! I asked her to stand by her favorite spot in the garden so I could get a photo, and here it is!
- On the drive back home, I asked Kendall to let me off at the south end of the neighborhood and the walk home from there got me my 10 miles for the day. Check another item off the ToDo list!
All in all, 'twas a very fine Saturday indeed!
